Hughenden Village Store and Coffee Shop is a lovely traditional village store with a warm and welcoming coffee shop serving hot food all day. It is nestled in the grounds of the Hughenden Valley Village Hall and is a community-owned, not-for-profit organisation.
There is free WiFi and we are in and ideal location adjacent to the village hall, the children’s play area and village playing field. It is the perfect place to have a drink, a bite to eat or catch up with work in conjunction with a visit to the halls. There is outside seating and the surrounding area is popular for family cycle rides and dog walkers. It is a great place to meet for a friendly welcome and a bite to eat.
The shop is a community hub and is as much about providing a hub of the community as it is about selling a pint of milk!
The Coffee Shop serves hot and cold food and drink all day, including Jacket Potatoes, Bacon and Sausage Baps, Garlic Mushrooms and a range of locally made menu options. Scone Cream Teas are available, as well as a nutritious children’s menu. In addition to tea and coffee we offer a range of healthy fruit or vegetable smoothies, along with a delicious range of cakes including gluten free and vegan alternatives.
Village Store sells produce from a variety of truly local suppliers such as honey, ice-cream, cereals, eggs, bacon, sausages and apple juice as well as offering main brand convenience goods for all your top up shopping. A variety of local, handmade Gluten and Dairy Free produce is also available.
Freshly baked bread is delivered Monday to Saturday from a local bakery, Darvell’s of Chesham, and any loaf can be ordered and supplied upon request.
We also sell a range of beautiful cards, gift wrap and gifts for those special occasions – perfect for last minute purchases!
